Our primary focus is kittens. We were founded, organized, and designed around rescuing the overwhelming number of kittens in need and mothers with babies. Kitten care, including neonatal, is also where Jena has focused her knowledge base over the years. These vulnerable, and fragile little beings grabbed her heart a long time ago.

We can take in/rescue adult cats as well but do have to allocate our adult space primarily for mothers. Moms are usually not adopted as quickly as their kittens and tend to be with us a bit longer.
While we never want to see anyone surrender their personal companion feline, we are rarely able to accommodate such intakes. We fill up very quickly with the great number of homeless, abandoned, and compromised kittens and mothers in need of rescue.
How to Surrender Kitties in Need:
If you have found kittens/cats in need and are looking to surrender them, please CALL us so we can obtain and exchange information. We try to prioritize urgent situations, but fill up very fast, particularly in spring and summer when it’s ‘kitten season’.
At times, we can work out indirect foster arrangements with committed individuals as well as place felines on a waiting list depending on the situation and our acuity.
Surrender Donation:
As a nonprofit organization, we are dependent primarily on donations to fund the care of our feline friends. We kindly ask for a minimum $30 donation when you surrender a feline. We do NOT turn an animal away due to a lack of donation.
